The UCCA refers to the Unarmed Commando Combat
Academy
where ACCS CQB for Forces & ACCS Unarmed Combat for Civilians is managed.
Dr Raos are committed to imparting state of the art CQB training to the forces
involved with fighting the threat of terrorism. They are the Directors of UCCA.
ACCS is a Close Quarter Battle art developed for use in Close Quarter Battle situations,
It is not a sport or recreational art.
The goals of the soldiers / policemen learning this fighting system are very different from the civilian
goals of sport, exercise and competition.
The commando soldier, in his line of duty is often required to effectively terminate, cripple or immobilize
his enemy / enemies, at the risk of losing his own life.
While every precaution will be taken to ensure safety, It is to be remembered that there is a minimal
risk of grievous injury for which no responsibility will be borne by the academy, its instructors, or the director.
The UCCA has a UCCA FORCES chapter & a UCCA CIVIL chapter.
UCCA FORCES CHAPTER (Also called Unarmed Combat & CQB Academy)
comprises
only of Prof. Dr. Rao & Dr Seema Rao who carry on their decade long work of training the forces in Close Quarter
Combat adapted for various Special Operations. They are guided and advised by many retired Senior Army & Police Officials
towards their quest of providing state of art trg to Forces.
UCCA CIVIL CHAPTER
is made
of a civilian body which has instructors who teach a few select civilians Self Defense Martial Arts. This is the
UCCA source of income.
The UCCA CIVIL is also committed to researching and developing Martial Range Combat based on Jeet
Kune Do Ideology. This body has no connections with training the Indian Forces and with Armed combat.
The UCCA
Civil is the first State of Art Combat Center in India, One of 2 Centers in Asia teaching Jeet Kune Do & also one of the
few Centers in the world teaching Unarmed Combat.
